A Worthy Mirror Screening Party + Digital Premiere

Join us for our premiere screening of our new concert film, A Worthy Mirror on November 7.

This film interpolates footage imagined and captured by Alkemie in their surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods (like a teetering ride on a wooden roller-coaster) with video of the studio session where we recorded 11 new compositions by women and non-binary composers. Whimsical and arresting symbolic imagery is juxtaposed with the Occitan poetry + the commissions that form the foundation of this project.


The screening and reception will take place at “The Secret Loft” in Ridgewood, Queens near the Halsey street subway stop (L).

This digital concert is available to watch from the comfort of your own home.

A viewing link will be sent to you upon purchase, and will be available to view until December 1, 2024.

Having worked as a professional musician, a music-educator, and the Executive Director of a number of non-profit arts organizations, Beth has over 10 years of experience in catering to the unique needs of artists. Beth believes that the talent, education, and skill-sets of her clients have inherent worth. As a passionate artist advocate, she aims to help her artists improve the quality of their own lives by encouraging them to honor the value of their own work, and by creating materials which allow them to champion their art with confidence. Equally interested in building community, Beth aims to create a roster of artists who are excited to support and collaborate together.
